Project 1: Tanzania & Angola | Livelihood Restoration & Data Visibility

Building sustainable livelihoods

The Challenge: Large-scale resource developments required land acquisition affecting thousands of households. The client needed to move beyond simple compensation to a bankable Livelihood Restoration Program (LRP) that satisfied international lenders and met IFC PS5 requirements.

The Vuna Solution: We designed a multi-phase restoration framework focused on agricultural resilience. Crucially, we deployed a digital data management system to build an audit-ready baseline of every affected household, allowing for real-time tracking of livelihood restoration progress and grievance resolution.

The Impact: Successfully bridged the "Information Gap," providing the client with a single source of truth for social compliance audits and ensuring community buy-in through transparent, data-driven engagement.
